Hey, um, can I take the chance to ask a (probably silly) question?

If I'm writing fic where the two "main characters" are FBR-related girlfriendish-types (say specifically Audrey Kitching and Ashlee Simpson) but the boys of Panic! and FOB are in there too, would that be acceptable to post here?

it's not a silly question at all! don't fret your pretty face about it anymore XD

the community encompasses FBR-fandom's related enemies and friends aaaand (ex)girlfriends, so that's perfectly alright! Audrey and Ashlee fit right into the canon.

i only posted that modly reminder because of an isolated incident a few days ago, where someone posted snippets of her original fiction as a response to a prompt. no drama, i just wanted to keep on top of reminders and things, as far as modly duties go. :D

And hey, I've been wanting to say, I think you and [info]sonstoodstammer are absolutely glowingly good examples of mods - you're warm and polite and keep a fair-sized community in check rather astoundingly brilliantly, without ever losing your gentle touch. I just wanted to say, thank you for keeping this place such an overflow of love (between you two beffies in the comments, and in how everyone here is beautiful to each other by default, in accordance with the general atmosphere).

Whenever I've been feeling sad about fandom, I come here and I feel better. =]

i am barely refraining from punching the caps lock button because -- ohmygod -- here you have found one of the people who first made me want to write, who first made me understand that words could flow, who i have just written one-third of a twenty-five page essay about.

oh, touche, mods. TOUCHE.

(i cannot get her out of my head. habibi was just -- you. you are amazing. and if you like her, look into david levithan, he writes no poetry but his books are flipping prose.)

The prompts are always lovely, but this one really strikes a chord with me. What an unexpected combo (peanut butter on bread in bed + kindness), yet it works so well.

Oh, this is gorgeous!

I hesitate to make any prompt suggestions, because the ones you have are always so amazing. But I really love A Softer World. They take pictures and add a sentence or two to make a story. A lot of them are weird or funny, but some of them are really beautiful.

Question. I read the modly reminder and some of the comments above and feel like a fool now because the slash I've posted here wasn't FBR-related. Conor Oberst and Ryan Adams don't fit in that category. So now I feel like I was doing the wrong thing. Was I? Or was it okay since it was technically bandslash?

WAC was opened with the FBR circle in mind, so we target prompts at those boys and would prefer fic to revolve around them, but we're mostly chill with bandom in general. I'm positive Pete Wentz has got Bright Eyes on repeat any number of days, at any rate, and if Wentz gives the thumbs up, who are we to complain? ;)

Hi, reeaaallly stupid question! I was reading the comment before betexxnoire's and I was wondering if FBR included MCR? And if so, is Gerard/Mikey accepted? I'm not quite sure. Thanks :)

when we started [info]we_are_cities, me an' [info]sonstoodstammer were pretty much anchored in FBR fandom, so we started the comm with that in mind. but our information post says FBR and its friends&enemies, and i'm v. sure MCR figures in as friends! they're involved in each other's canon and stuff like that. so no worries with anything MCR-related. :)

i'll make sure to make the information post much clearer on things like this soon! sorry for the confusion.
